Yes, primroses fade quickly, but if you combine these flowers with other plants with different flowering periods, then your balcony will delight you from the first days of spring until autumn.

From such balconies and terraces there is a creeping trawl, slippery thyme. They love morning sun and grow more ridiculously than on the south side.
The evening side of the house and the balcony are usually open to the wind. Securely anchor hanging baskets and balconies and select hard crops: bush and pulsating pelargoniums, tiger shades, broth, skewers, sage and others. Marigold
Another flower that can decorate not only the flower beds at our dacha, but also the balcony. For closed ground, it is better to choose low-growing varieties. Terry and ordinary marigolds will look great in combination. They require no care other than watering and bloom all summer. Diseases do not affect them.
Lobelia
A wonderful plant, although very capricious. Not everyone succeeds in growing lobelia seedlings. But if you succeeded or you bought an ampel type, then be sure that the appearance of your balcony will not leave anyone indifferent. Lobelia looks great in hanging flowerpots. It can grow there alone or in a composition. Loves south exposure and lots of sunshine.
On this side, less moisture evaporates from the soil cells, so they are quite long - they need to be watered and fertilized more often. But the bad thing is that plant moisture is still high for a long time, and there is a danger that plant roots will disappear from its excess. Therefore, the most efficient waste of excess water is selected. But first of all, such a container must have very good drainage.
Do not squeeze flower arrangements on tree branches, as well as pots, chariots, bears and other objects with flowing flowers, do not stand on the green lawn - oil. Eventually, the flowers were dipped into a bowl and grown to support lawns where there was no greenery. Therefore, place pots or baskets only where there is no greenery, no grass: on the floor of the terrace, stones and similar places. If you do not have a terrace or balcony, it is better to plant a flower in a flower garden, rather than torture it in some kind of pot.
Convolvulus

To do this, coarse sand, turf layer of earth and humus (peat) are used in equal proportions. A layer made of an elastic dishwashing napkin or a piece of rug is placed in the flower box, which can accumulate water and then gradually release it into the ground. Then we pour a layer of sand - this is drainage, a layer of peat, and on top we pour turf soil from which the weeds have been removed.
The soil level should be a couple of centimeters below the edge of the box. If you poured too much soil, the water will wash it away when watering.
Important! Every year, before planting flowers, you need to remove the top layer and replace it with a fresh one. Fertilizers are applied only after replacing the top layer of soil. Try to use long-lasting fertilizers. Check with seed sellers for the order of applying fertilizer.
Choosing flowers
