This standard applies to flange connections with steel ring gaskets of octagonal cross-section, intended for connecting components of wellhead oilfield equipment for operating pressure from 14 to 140 MPa and conditional passage from 50 to 680 mm, as well as on flanges, gaskets, studs and nuts flange connections. The requirements of the standard are mandatory, except for the requirements of paragraphs. 1.1, 1.4 regarding the indicator “Stud length”, paragraphs. 1.3. 1.6 in terms of the indicator “Weight, kg”, which are recommended.

1. TYPES, PARAMETERS AND SIZES

1.1. Two types of flange connections are installed:

1 - with a gap between the ends of the flanges;

2 - without a gap between the ends of the flanges.

For each type of flange connection, two connection options are provided: flange to flange and flange to body (i.e., connecting a flange to a flange combined with a body). Types, options and basic parameters of flange connections must correspond to those indicated in the drawing. 1 and in table. 1.

Types of flange connections


1.2. The standard provides 2 flange versions:

version 1 - for flange connections type 1 (Fig. 2);

version 2 - for flange connections type 2 (Fig. 3).

The flange parameters must correspond to those indicated in the table. 2 and 3. 1.3.

The standard provides for two versions of gaskets:

P - for flange connections type 1 (Fig. 4);

BH - for flange connections type 2 (Fig. 5).

* f1max = f; f1min = 3 mm. Allowed for flanges combined with the body, f1 = 0.

** For flanges with an outer diameter of no more than 315 mm, the parallelism tolerance is 0.2/100.






The design, dimensions, weight and applicability of gaskets must correspond to the following versions:

P - damn. 4 and table. 4;

BH - damn. 5 and table. 5.

1.4. The standard provides for two versions of studs:

version 1 - for parts with smooth holes;

version 2 - with screwed end.

The design, dimensions and applicability of the studs must correspond to those indicated in the drawing. 6 and in table. 2 and 3.

d - diameter of the stud thread in accordance with table. 2 or 3;

l = 2d; l1 = 1.25 for threads from M16 to M30 inclusive; l1 = d for M33 and more;

d1 - according to GOST 19256 or GOST 19258; L - stud length in accordance with table. 2 or 3.

L = L1 for flange-to-flange connection or L = L2 for flange-to-body connection.

It is allowed to manufacture studs of execution 1 in accordance with GOST 22042, execution 2 - in accordance with GOST 22034 (for nominal thread diameters up to 30 mm)

and according to GOST 22032 (for nominal thread diameters over 30 mm).

Studs of version 1 can be manufactured with threads along the entire length.

1.5. The design, dimensions and application of nuts must correspond to those indicated in the drawing. 7 and in table. 6 and 7

1.6. Technical requirements for gaskets, studs and nuts - according to Appendix 1.

1.7. Acceptance rules, test methods, marking and packaging of gaskets, nuts and studs - in accordance with the regulatory and technical documentation for the corresponding wellhead equipment.

1.8. Symbols for flanges, gaskets, studs and nuts - according to Appendix 2.



TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS FOR CONNECTING PARTS OF FLANGED CONNECTIONS

1. Technical requirements for gaskets

1.1. Gaskets must be made only from solid pieces.

1.2. The hardness of the material for the manufacture of ring gaskets should be no more than:

carbon steel - 107 НВ;

high-quality steel - 131 НВ;

carbon steel - 160 HB.

Notes:

1. Gaskets U1 and U2 are intended for non-corrosion-resistant equipment.

2. K1 gaskets are intended for equipment operating in a well environment with a volumetric CO2 content of up to 6%; K3 gaskets are intended for equipment operating in a well environment with a volumetric content of CO2 and H2S up to 25%.

1.3. The difference in hardness between the material of gaskets and flanges or the surface of flange grooves in contact with gaskets must be at least 50 Brinell units, unless a different standard is specified in the regulatory and technical documentation for the product.

1.4. Gaskets made of non-alloy steels must be coated. Type of coating - cadmium or zinc according to GOST 9.301.

Coating thickness - 5-13 microns. 1.5. The sealing surfaces of the gaskets must be free of corrosion, dirt, nicks, scratches, dents and other defects.

2. TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS FOR FLANGE CONNECTION STUDS

2.1. Studs should be made from rolled bars or forgings.

2.2. The mechanical properties of the material of blanks or finished studs in a heat-treated state must correspond to those indicated in Table 9.

For equipment of the HL and UHL versions in accordance with GOST 15150, the value of the impact strength of the stud material after heat treatment must be no lower than KCV 20 J/cm2 at a temperature of minus 60°C. Impact strength is checked when choosing a material and heat treatment mode.

2.3. Metric thread - according to GOST 24705 with a tolerance range of 6 g according to GOST 16093, normal thread run-out - according to GOST 27148; It is recommended to make the thread with a rounded cavity - in accordance with GOST 9150.

2.4. The studs must be coated. Type of coating - cadmium with chromating according to GOST 9.301. Coating thickness - 9-12 microns. By agreement with the consumer, another type of metal coating is allowed.

2.5. Protective coatings must be uniform; bubbles and peeling are not allowed.

2.6. Requirements for the roughness of treated surfaces for coatings are in accordance with GOST 9.301.

2.7. The remaining technical requirements are in accordance with the regulatory and technical documentation for equipment equipped with studs.

3. TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS FOR NUTS

3.1. The nut should be made from long and calibrated rolled products, forgings or stampings.

3.2. The mechanical properties of the nuts must correspond to those indicated in the table. 10.

The test load voltage is checked when selecting materials and heat treatments. Test method - in accordance with GOST 1759.5.

3.3. Metric thread in accordance with GOST 24705 with a tolerance range of 6N in accordance with GOST 16093, normal thread run-out in accordance with GOST 27148, the shape of the thread recesses is recommended with rounding in accordance with GOST 9150.

3.4. Nuts must be manufactured with a coating. Type of coating - cadmium with chromating according to GOST 9.301. Coating thickness - 9-12 microns. By agreement with the consumer, another type of metal coating is allowed. In these cases, is added to the nut symbol.

3.5. Protective coatings must be uniform, bubbles and peeling are not allowed.

3.6. Requirements for the roughness of treated surfaces for coatings are in accordance with GOST 9.301.

3.7. The remaining technical requirements are in accordance with the regulatory and technical documentation for equipment equipped with nuts.

APPENDIX 2 Mandatory

SYMBOLS OF FLANGE CONNECTIONS AND THEIR COMPONENTS

1. In the technical documentation for wellhead equipment, when specifying the connecting dimensions of flanges, their symbol should be given. The symbol for flanges (flange connections) must consist of the word “Flange”, the designation of the flange in accordance with Table. 2 and 3 and symbols of this standard. Examples of designation of flanges (flange connections) in the design documentation are shown in Fig. 8.

2. The symbol of the gasket must consist of the word “Gasket”, a code consisting of the designation of the gasket in accordance with Table. 4 and 5, designations of gasket material in accordance with table. 8, as well as designations of the regulatory and technical document for delivery.

1. TYPES, PARAMETERS AND SIZES

1.1. Two types of flange connections are installed:

SYMBOLS OF FLANGE CONNECTIONS AND THEIR COMPONENTS

1. In the technical documentation for wellhead equipment, when specifying the connecting dimensions of flanges, their symbol should be given.

The symbol for flanges (flange connections) must consist of the word “Flange”, the designation of the flange in accordance with Table. 2 and 3 and symbols of this standard.

Examples of designation of flanges (flange connections) in the design documentation are shown in Fig. 8.

This standard applies to flange connections with steel ring gaskets of octagonal cross-section, intended for connecting components of wellhead oilfield equipment for operating pressure from 14 to 140 MPa and nominal bore from 50 to 680 mm, as well as to flanges, gaskets, studs and nuts of flange connections .

The requirements of the standard are mandatory, except for the requirements of paragraphs. 1.1, 1.4 regarding the indicator “Stud length”, paragraphs. 1.3. 1.6 in terms of the indicator “Weight, kg”, which are recommended.

1. TYPES, PARAMETERS AND SIZES

1.1. Two types of flange connections are installed:

1 - with a gap between the ends of the flanges;

2 - without a gap between the ends of the flanges.

For each type of flange connection, two connection options are provided: flange to flange and flange to body (i.e., connecting a flange to a flange combined with a body).

Types, options and basic parameters of flange connections must correspond to those indicated in the drawing. 1 and in table. 1.

1. Technical requirements for gaskets

1.1. Gaskets must be made only from solid pieces.

1.2. The hardness of the material for the manufacture of ring gaskets should be no more than:

carbon steel - 107 НВ;

high-quality steel - 131 НВ;

carbon steel - 160 HB.

Notes:

1. Gaskets U1 and U2 are intended for non-corrosion-resistant equipment.

2. K1 gaskets are intended for equipment operating in a well environment with a volumetric CO2 content of up to 6%; K3 gaskets are intended for equipment operating in a well environment with a volumetric content of CO2 and H2S up to 25%.

1.3. The difference in hardness between the material of gaskets and flanges or the surface of flange grooves in contact with gaskets must be at least 50 Brinell units, unless a different standard is specified in the regulatory and technical documentation for the product.

1.4. Gaskets made of non-alloy steels must be coated.

Type of coating - cadmium or zinc according to GOST 9.301.

Coating thickness - 5-13 microns.

1.5. The sealing surfaces of the gaskets must be free of corrosion, dirt, nicks, scratches, dents and other defects.

2. TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS FOR FLANGE CONNECTION STUDS

2.1. Studs should be made from rolled bars or forgings.

2.2. The mechanical properties of the material of blanks or finished studs in a heat-treated state must correspond to those indicated in Table 9.

For equipment of the HL and UHL versions in accordance with GOST 15150, the value of the impact strength of the stud material after heat treatment must be no lower than KCV 20 J/cm2 at a temperature of minus 60°C. Impact strength is checked when choosing a material and heat treatment mode.

2.3. Metric thread - according to GOST 24705 with a tolerance range of 6 g according to GOST 16093, normal thread run-out - according to GOST 27148; It is recommended to make the thread with a rounded cavity - in accordance with GOST 9150.

2.4. The studs must be coated. Type of coating - cadmium with chromating according to GOST 9.301.

Coating thickness - 9-12 microns. By agreement with the consumer, another type of metal coating is allowed.

2.5. Protective coatings must be uniform; bubbles and peeling are not allowed.

2.6. Requirements for the roughness of treated surfaces for coatings are in accordance with GOST 9.301.

2.7. The remaining technical requirements are in accordance with the regulatory and technical documentation for equipment equipped with studs.

3. TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS FOR NUTS

3.1. The nut should be made from long and calibrated rolled products, forgings or stampings.

3.2. The mechanical properties of the nuts must correspond to those indicated in the table. 10.

The test load voltage is checked when selecting materials and heat treatments. Test method - in accordance with GOST 1759.5.

3.3. Metric thread in accordance with GOST 24705 with a tolerance range of 6N in accordance with GOST 16093, normal thread run-out in accordance with GOST 27148, the shape of the thread recesses is recommended with rounding in accordance with GOST 9150.

3.4. Nuts must be manufactured with a coating. Type of coating - cadmium with chromating according to GOST 9.301. Coating thickness - 9-12 microns.

By agreement with the consumer, another type of metal coating is allowed. In these cases, is added to the nut symbol.
