I propose to prepare a delicious dinner of rice noodles with meat in the Chinese style. The spiciness of the dish can be adjusted to suit your taste. We don't really like spicy food, so I used minimal spices.

To prepare this dish we need beef, bell peppers, onions, rice noodles, a mixture of peppers, soy sauce, vegetable oil and salt.

Cut the beef into pieces, then put it in boiling water, skim off the foam, reduce heat, add salt. Cook until done. Then strain the broth; we will need it for making soup or borscht. Set the meat aside.

Place the rice noodles in a deep bowl and pour boiling water over them for 5-7 minutes. Then place in a colander and rinse under cold water.

Fry the onion and sweet pepper cut into half rings in vegetable oil for 5 minutes.

Add the prepared boiled meat to the pan. Pepper to taste. For spicy lovers, you can add a piece of chili pepper at this stage. Add soy sauce and cook for another 5 minutes.

Add rice noodles to the pan, mix well so that all the noodles are soaked in the sauce.

Udon is a type of wheat noodles with meat, in our case beef and vegetables. This is an Asian dish and it is correct to cook it in a wok frying pan. It can also be cooked in a regular frying pan, but using a wok will allow you to fry all the ingredients more correctly. Also, using a wok frying pan, you can simplify the cooking process, for example, boil noodles in it. This is quite convenient if you are cooking somewhere over a fire and you don’t have extra utensils to boil the noodles.

The recipe for Chinese wheat noodles with beef is quite easy and quick to prepare, the main feature of this recipe is a good fire so that everything is thoroughly fried.

Ingredients for making Chinese noodles with beef and vegetables:

The amount of ingredients is calculated for the volume of a 5 liter wok.

  • Beef – 300 grams
  • Wheat noodles – 300 grams
  • Onions – 1 pc.
  • Green onions – 1 bunch
  • Bulgarian sweet pepper – 2 pcs.
  • Hot chili pepper – 1 pc.
  • Garlic – 3 cloves
  • Teriyaki sauce or soy sauce (teriyaki is preferred)

From spices:

  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Refined sunflower oil or sesame oil

Let's start making Chinese noodles!

We cut the beef into strips, but not too thin, so that the meat does not burn during strong frying.

Cut the onion into half rings.

Bulgarian pepper slices mode.

Chop the chili pepper and remove the seeds if you don’t want very spicy noodles. We also peel and chop the garlic.

Pour about 100 milliliters of sunflower oil into the wok and place the meat in the heated oil. In order for the meat to fry, you need a good fire. Also, remember to stir constantly to prevent the meat from burning. 3 minutes is enough to fry the meat.

As soon as the meat is browned, pour the onions and bell peppers into the wok, maintain the heat at the proper level and stir constantly. Fry the contents for about 2 minutes.

Next add garlic, hot pepper,add sauce and stir. Next, add salt and ground black pepper, mix well again and give a little time so that all the contents are thoroughly fried, about two minutes was enough for me.

Now let's prepare the noodles. I cook outdoors and don’t have extra utensils, so I’ll use the same wok. If you are cooking at home, then you can boil the noodles while cooking the meat.

Wheat noodles cook very quickly, about 3 minutes.

When our noodles are ready, add the previously prepared vegetables and meat and mix...Let's also add some chopped herbs and our Chinese noodles are ready!

Now you can summarize how much time it took to prepare.It took about 7 minutes to fry the meat and vegetables and 3 minutes to cook the noodles. And besides the time spent building a fire and preparing firewood, the dish took 10 minutes to prepare.

I really love all kinds of sushi, rolls, noodles, but I’m not very good at making rolls myself, so we buy similar food. But the other day at the supermarket I remembered that we had run out of soy sauce at home and when I approached the counter I simply could not leave without buying rice noodles, especially since they were not expensive, although I thought that the price would be much higher.
Since this was my first experience, I read a lot of recipes on the Internet and decided to do it like this.
First, finely cut the meat into strips.

thanks to garlic, the meat will turn golden even faster and acquire a pleasant aroma, the main thing here is to stir constantly. Fry for about 2 minutes, then add frozen vegetables


and carrots (I already had them grated and frozen, but you can take fresh ones and cut them into cubes, I also don’t add a lot of carrots, since my husband doesn’t like them, he’ll say so, I add them only for beauty)


then add soy sauce

cover with a lid and simmer for 5 minutes.
During this time we need to cook the rice noodles. By the time I added the vegetables, the water was already boiling and all I had to do was throw in the noodles


cook it until almost done - on the label it said 5-7 minutes, I cooked it for 3 minutes, it was a little undercooked.
Add spices to vegetables and meat


I have ground ginger, black pepper, red pepper, suneli hops and coriander. Stir, add a little oil (we need it to prevent the noodles from sticking together).
By this time the noodles are cooked, drain the water from them and add to the meat and vegetables

I added a couple more spoons of meat broth, if there is no broth, you can replace it with boiled water, since my vegetables are not fresh - they gave little juice, and the dish needs a little liquid to make it juicy.
Mix everything and simmer over low heat for a couple more minutes.


After cooking, I let the dish sit for a little while, then put it in beautiful plates for Chinese food and you can eat all this deliciousness with chopsticks, it’s convenient there, since apart from carrots there are no small ingredients and it creates a pleasant and unusual atmosphere.


It turns out to be a very satisfying and tasty dish. It seems like nothing special - noodles with vegetables, meat and noodles, but thanks to the unusual cooking method it turns out very interesting, and besides, the rice noodles have a slightly different taste than regular ones.
We really liked this dish and cooked it more than once over the course of several days.
