Tax Inspectorate how to find out your debt. How to find out about debts to the Federal Tax Service by last name and pay them online? Certificate of tax debt

The official Internet resource of the Federal Tax Service of the Russian Federation will help you find out the amount of your tax debt to the state.

The functionality of the website www.nalog.ru is constantly expanding; with the launch of a new version of the portal and the introduction of personal accounts for taxpayers, the ability to find out debt by name and without registration was eliminated.

Previously, the search for information on debts on personal income taxes, as well as transport, property and land taxes, was carried out through an electronic service "Find out your debt". It was possible to immediately print a payment document to repay the debt through the cash desk of any bank.

In order to protect the personal data of taxpayers, the functionality of the service was transferred to the personal account on the Federal Tax Service website.

How to find out the debt on tax.ru?

To do this, you will need to create an account on the website nalog.ru

If you are already registered, log in to your personal taxpayer account in any way convenient for you. On the main page of your account you will see the amount of tax debt:

Go to My Taxes to view detailed tax information. You will see a list of charges for each taxable object (real estate, transport, land); for each amount you can see a detailed explanation of what it consists of.

There you can also choose a method of paying the debt - through one of the online payment services or print a receipt.

If you do not yet have a personal account on the nalog.ru website, you need to register.

There are several ways to register as a taxpayer of an individual:

  • log in to the site using an account on the State Services portal;
  • using a qualified electronic signature;
  • or having previously received a Registration Card for using the Personal Account.

You can find detailed information on registration on the Tax Service portal.

Other ways to find out about tax debt

On the nalog.ru portal it is no longer possible to find out debt by last name, but there is another option to check the existence of debt without registration.

Check tax debt using TIN

This service is offered absolutely free by the Yandex.Money service. For verification, you only need your TIN number.

You can do this on the page money.yandex.ru/taxes-debts

How to check tax debts through State Services

You can also check your tax debt on the State Services portal. It’s also absolutely free, but you need a personal account on gosuslugi.ru

To do this, go to the “Service Categories” section and in the “Taxes and Finance” subsection, select “Tax debt”.

On the page that opens, click the “Get service” button. A form will open in which your last name and initials and Taxpayer Identification Number (if it is indicated in your profile on the site) have already been entered. All you have to do is click on the “Find Debt” button.

In addition, if you have a receipt with a UIN (unique accrual identifier), you can see the exact amount of the debt and pay it off.

You can also check your debt and pay it off immediately in the Sberbank Online service. If the payment deadline is already overdue, the amount of the debt can be found using the Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN) in a special section of your personal account.

In the main menu, select “Transfers and Payments”, scroll the page to the “Payment for Purchases and Services” section and select “Federal Tax Service”. On the page that opens, select “Search and pay taxes to the Federal Tax Service.” The form will open:

Select the desired service from the drop-down menu and follow the on-screen instructions.

Another way to find out about the debt is to check the availability of information about yourself in the Data Bank of Enforcement Proceedings of the Federal Bailiff Service. This is an extreme case: you can find information about yourself there in a situation where payment deadlines have been significantly violated and enforcement proceedings have been initiated against you by the FSSP.

To check, enter your last name, first name, date of birth and region on the page fssprus.ru/iss/ip/

More and more citizens are interested in how to check the taxes of an individual by last name. Solving the problem is not as difficult as it might seem. It is advisable to have your TIN with you. This data helps to double-check debts, and also make sure 100% that there are no errors in the results given. Citizens are provided with quite a few alternative solutions. Therefore, you should not neglect them. You can find out about debts without leaving home. But how to do this? How to find out tax debts by last name? The instructions that will be offered below will help you understand the questions posed.

Preparation

The first thing you should pay attention to is the preparation stage. It is recommended to approach this issue thoroughly. After all, proper preparation means speeding up the verification process several times.

First of all, you will have to prepare several documents. Namely:

  • identity card of the citizen-applicant;
  • Full name of the payer (if there is no passport);

With this information you can already find out 100% about your debts. However, quite often you can get by with either only your full name or tax identification number. Here the citizen himself must decide what data to use.

By receipt

You can check the taxes of an individual by last name using a receipt. At the moment, the tax authorities send a written notification regarding payments to each payer at a certain point in time. The corresponding payment receipt comes along with the letter.

As soon as the payment has arrived, it is worth checking the recipient’s information. If the full names and names match, then the debt exists. And in this situation, you just need to pay the invoice. And keep the payment receipt. He will be able to confirm the absence of debt if there is a delay in the receipt of funds by the tax authorities. Nevertheless, many people think about how to check the taxes of an individual by last name in the event that a payment slip is lost. What to do under such circumstances?

Call the tax office

For example, you can call the tax office. And in the help desk you can clarify all the information you are interested in. To do this, it is recommended to provide not only the personal data of the recipient, but also his SNILS, as well as TIN.

Calls must be made to the district tax office. It is there that all questions will be answered. Moreover, if necessary, you can ask to send a new payment slip to pay the bill. This is not difficult, although, as practice shows, this option is not in demand.

Visit to the tax office

Tax debts of individuals by last name can be checked in person. More precisely, through a visit to the territorial tax authority. The method works 100%, but takes a considerable amount of time.

How to proceed? The algorithm is simple:

  1. Collect all identification documents. Namely: passport and TIN. You can take SNILS with you.
  2. Go to the district tax office and contact the window servicing individuals.
  3. Write an application for the release of information about debts. Sometimes it is possible to do without this - it is enough to verbally ask employees to provide the information of interest.
  4. Provide a passport and TIN for identification.
  5. Get the result. As a rule, if there is a debt, the citizen is given payment slips for payment.

Nevertheless, many continue to be interested in other ways to check the taxes of an individual by last name. After all, there are several more options.

"Payment for government services"

Now you can move on to more modern verification methods. For example, every Internet user is invited to use the “Payment for government services” portal. It helps not only pay bills, but also check debts.

How is this done? The algorithm of actions is simple:

  1. You need to go to the website oplatagosuslug.ru.
  2. Select the menu item "Tax debt". Next, the data source is selected. It is very convenient to use a TIN.
  3. Enter the appropriate data in the fields provided.
  4. Click on "Find". A few seconds of waiting - and the result will be displayed on the screen.

Fast, convenient, practical, safe. This is perhaps one of the most popular verification methods. The main advantage of the service is that you can pay your debts without much difficulty, without leaving your home.

"Government services"

Checking an individual's taxes by last name is not that difficult. Especially with modern technology. The fact is that now all residents of the Russian Federation can use the State Services website. This service not only helps you process documents online, but also helps you check your debts. For example, regarding fines. So it's not just taxes that are checked this way.

Nevertheless, many citizens wonder how to find out without using the portal they are studying. Usually these are people who do not have their own account on the page. Registration takes a long time. Therefore, you should not consider such an offer if you urgently need to find out about the debt, but there is no profile on Gosuslugi.

So how do you check an individual's taxes? By TIN or full name - this is not so important. "Gosuslugi" offers the following algorithm of actions:

  1. Register on the portal gosuslugi.ru.
  2. Activate your account and fill out your profile. This takes about 14 days. After checking the user information, the citizen will receive a corresponding notification by email.
  3. Log in to the portal.
  4. In the search bar in the "Services" section, type "Taxes by TIN" or "Taxes by last name."
  5. Select the appropriate line after the search results are displayed.
  6. Enter the required data into the designated areas and confirm the information.
  7. Wait for the scan results.

In this regard, the website “Payment for government services” is in great demand. All this is due to the lack of registration required. But through “State Services” you can find out your tax debt for individuals by last name.

Tax service website

As an alternative solution, it is proposed to use the website nalog.ru. There is a so-called “Taxpayer Personal Account”. It has a debt checking function.

Quite a popular and reliable method. How to check the taxes of an individual by TIN? To do this you need:

  1. Obtain a login and password from the tax service for authorization on the official website of the Federal Tax Service. To do this, you need to submit a corresponding application.
  2. Go to the “Personal Taxpayer Account” on the nalog.ru page. The authorization field is on the right side of the window.
  3. Select the "Check debts" function.
  4. If the system requires, then enter the payer information. Most often this is either the last name, first name and patronymic, or just the TIN number.
  5. Wait for the scan results.

Nothing more is required from the citizen. Everything is quite easy and simple. However, this does not exhaust the possible options. How to find out tax debts by last name or TIN? There is another good verification method. But it should be noted that it is not suitable for everyone. Typically used when there is a long delay in payment.

Bailiffs website

The fact is that if a citizen is wondering how to check the taxes of an individual by last name, you can go to the website of the bailiffs of the Russian Federation. And, accordingly, look for information about yourself in a special database of debtors.

The task is implemented in several ways. Or a citizen is looking for information by TIN and surname or by the number of the enforcement case. The first option is the most common.

This requires:

  1. Go to the website fssprus.ru/iss/ip.
  2. Enter the requested payer information.
  3. Click on the "Find" button and wait for the scan result. If there is a debt, a corresponding notification will appear on the screen.

That's all. There are no other significant ways to help answer how to find out the tax debt using the TIN. Although you can use the “Debt Check” service in electronic wallets and Internet banking. But there the process occurs in exactly the same way as when using “State Services” - data about the potential debtor is entered and the result is expected. Tax debts of individuals by last name or other data can be verified without much difficulty.

Tax debtNow it’s not a problem to find out. We will tell you what ways to do this in our article.

Checking tax debt: who needs it?

It is advisable for all taxpayers to check their tax arrears from time to time. However, this procedure is more relevant specifically for individuals. Organizations calculate all taxes themselves, which means they must be aware of their tax obligations.

“Physicists” in most cases do not participate in tax calculations. Property taxes are calculated for them by the inspectorate, and personal income tax is calculated by the employer. That's why sometimes tax debt comes as a surprise to them. We will tell you further about how to find out the tax debt of individuals.

What tax debt can be checked?

I love it. You can check your tax debt using your TIN:

  • according to personal income tax;
  • transport tax;
  • property tax for individuals (for example, an apartment);
  • land tax.

In this case, you can find out the amount of current and overdue debt, as well as the amount of penalties and fines, if any.

How to find out if an individual has tax debts

Firstly, you can find out your tax debt online:

  • in the taxpayer’s personal account;
  • through the government services portal.

Secondly, this can be done by personally visiting your Federal Tax Service.

And information about tax debts that are in the process of collection can be obtained on the website of the bailiff service.

Note that in any case, this is a check of tax debt according to the TIN. So every taxpayer needs to know their identification number.

A way to find out tax debt on the official website of the Tax Service of the Russian Federation by TIN

Currently, you can find out tax debt on the website of the Federal Tax Service of Russia only through the taxpayer’s personal account (PA), which is available at the link https://lk2.service.nalog.ru/lk/.

To do this, you need to register and gain access to your personal account. It is possible:

  • by login and password received from any Federal Tax Service (you need a passport and a certificate of TIN assignment or a copy thereof);
  • using a qualified electronic signature / universal electronic card (a qualified electronic signature verification key certificate is issued by a certification center accredited by the Ministry of Telecom and Mass Communications of Russia);
  • using the access credentials used for authorization on the Unified Portal of State and Municipal Services, but only if you received them personally from the ESIA operators (at the Russian Post Office, MFC, etc.).

By logging into your personal account, you will see not only your tax debt, but also your entire tax history, including information on income and personal income tax filed for you by your tax agents (for example, your employer) for 3 years.

A way to check tax debt on the government services website

To obtain information about tax debts in this way, registration is also required, but only on the government services portal. It is available at the link http://www.gosuslugi.ru/. Instructions for registration are presented here: http://vsegosuslugi.ru/registraciya-na-saite-gosuslugi/.

On the portal you need to select the “Tax debt check” service, and the system will check your tax debt using your TIN and your last name.

Is it possible to find out the tax debt of an individual using the TIN without registration?

Now there is no such possibility. Previously, the service that allows you to find out tax debt by TIN worked on the Federal Tax Service website. With its help, it was possible to obtain information about taxes using the TIN of any taxpayer. And some people began to use this for not entirely legal purposes. For example, journalists used it to collect information about tax debts of deputies. So the tax authorities had to close the service.

How to find out about debts from the tax office

Taxpayers who do not have access to the listed verification methods can also find out their tax debt. To do this, you need to visit the Federal Tax Service in person with your passport and Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN). The inspector will tell you what taxes you have debts for, where they came from and how to pay them off.

Checking tax debt by last name on the bailiffs website

You can also find out from tax bailiffs about tax debts, the collection of which is at the stage of enforcement proceedings. For this purpose, the FSSP website http://fssprus.ru/ operates a special service “Find out about debts”. The search for enforcement proceedings is carried out by full name and date of birth.

By the way, here you can get information not only about tax debts, but also about other enforcement proceedings, in particular regarding the collection of administrative fines.

Results

The issue of determining the presence and volume of tax debts is of interest to individuals, in contrast to legal entities and individual entrepreneurs, who do not have reasons for frequent interaction with the Federal Tax Service on this matter. There are many ways to obtain such information. It can be found in your personal account on the websites of the Federal Tax Service or government services, in the Federal Tax Service itself, as well as in the bailiff service (if debts are already at the stage of forced collection).

Even if an individual entrepreneur accurately submits returns and pays taxes, it will never be superfluous to periodically check the data of the tax office to ensure that there are no debts. This basic security measure will help protect against unpleasant surprises. If the individual entrepreneur is not sure that everything is going smoothly with his taxes, it is absolutely necessary to check. There are several ways to do this in 2018.

How can an individual entrepreneur find out his debt?

There are two ways for an individual entrepreneur to find out whether he has tax debts:

  • through the websites of government agencies;
  • by contacting the Federal Tax Service Inspectorate (IFTS).

Find out the debt by TIN

There are several services on the Internet that promise to provide information on tax debt to anyone who enters their or someone else’s TIN into the search form.

The algorithm for their work is as follows:

  1. The start page of the selected service opens.

    Services that provide information about tax debts, as a rule, do not require much information - just know the TIN

  2. The TIN is entered in the proposed form. All the data necessary for the search can be obtained from the form of the certificate of registration with the tax authority.

    Field for entering the taxpayer's TIN

  3. The search button is clicked.

    The button that needs to be clicked after entering the TIN to start the search

  4. A page opens with its results: information about debts to the Federal Tax Service or its absence.

    Search results if there is no debt

However, all online services are aimed at taxpayers - individuals. Therefore, with their help, debts are available only for part of the taxes levied on citizens:

  • personal income tax (NDFL);
  • property tax for individuals;
  • transport tax;
  • land tax.

An individual entrepreneur using the general taxation system (OSNO) uses them to learn about his personal income tax debts and income from business activities. But in terms of value added tax (VAT), the payers of which are also such individual entrepreneurs, these services are no longer helpful.

If an entrepreneur uses any other tax regime, he has nothing to do on such sites. There is no information on the single tax in connection with the use of the general taxation system, the single tax on imputed income, the single agricultural tax or the cost of a patent.

It would not be superfluous to mention the disadvantages associated with searching for information on such services:

  • the information they provide is unofficial and it is unclear from what sources it is taken (information about debt to the Federal Tax Service, by law, is classified as a tax secret, and accordingly cannot be public and received in the public domain by definition);
  • no one can guarantee the completeness, relevance and, accordingly, reliability of information received through such channels;
  • it is unknown how and by whom the TIN entered into the search form may subsequently be used.

Information directly from first hand is always more reliable, so it is better to resolve all issues through government resources, rather than transferring your own or someone else’s personal data, which includes TIN, to someone unknown.

Online check

An individual entrepreneur can check his tax debt using three online resources administered by government agencies:

  • Federal Tax Service website;
  • government services portal;
  • online database of enforcement proceedings of the Federal Bailiff Service.

On the Federal Tax Service website

In order to obtain any information from the tax office website, you need to have an individual entrepreneur’s personal account there.

To use the basic set of its functions, at a minimum, you must have a personal taxpayer account - an individual on the Federal Tax Service website or an account on the government services portal. Using their logins and passwords, authorization in the individual entrepreneur’s personal account is also available. However, for full operation it will require an electronic digital signature.

To perform almost all legally significant actions online, an electronic digital signature is required

There are two ways to use the debt verification service:

  • select this service from the list of services available in your personal account;
  • select the “Find out your debt” option on the Federal Tax Service website, and then, at the suggestion of the system, log in to your personal account using the taxpayer’s login and password or from your account on the government services portal.
  1. Go to the website of the Federal Tax Service of Russia.
  2. In the list of electronic services, select the “Find out your debt” option. After clicking on this link, a page will open that offers options with which you can do this:
  3. Select the taxpayer’s personal account from the list provided and click on the appropriate link.
  4. Log in to your personal account using your login and password.
  5. Click on the “Find out your debt” link.
  6. View the resulting result.

If you don’t have a personal account on the Federal Tax Service website, you will have to get one first. To do this, you need to visit your Federal Tax Service with your passport.

On the public services portal

To access this individual entrepreneur option, you need to create a separate personal account for an individual entrepreneur in addition to your regular account.

If you already have an individual entrepreneur account, all you have to do is log in, select the desired option from the list of available services and follow the instructions of the system.

You must act in this order:

  1. Open the main page of the portal.

    Start page of the government services portal, which lists the services available to citizens

  2. Log in. When you go to your personal account, select the option for individual entrepreneurs. If you have a personal account of only an individual, information about tax debt can be seen there too.

    If you have an individual entrepreneur’s personal account on the government services portal, after authorization the system will offer a choice between it and a private person’s account

  3. Check the informer data that is visible after opening your personal account. One of them concerns tax debt.

    Start page of your personal account on the government services portal with informers, including information about tax debts

Individuals can find out their tax debts through a citizen’s personal account. A similar opportunity is available to them on the website of the Federal Tax Service of Russia.

In the FSSP database

It is immediately necessary to make a reservation that the FSSP database of enforcement proceedings contains those cases that have already been received by the bailiffs, and this does not happen immediately after the debt arises, but only after some time.

Bailiffs have the right to take the demands of tax authorities for debts, including individual entrepreneurs, for execution, without waiting for a court decision. This speeds up the process of getting debts into their database, but does not make this process automatic.

However, if information about an individual entrepreneur has already appeared in the database of enforcement proceedings, then he certainly should not hesitate, but should try to pay off the debt, including the FSSP enforcement fee, as quickly as possible. Otherwise, the bailiffs may begin a set of measures to ensure debt collection. And in their arsenal there are such painful measures as description or seizure of property (and the individual entrepreneur is liable with all the property for his obligations) and restriction of the right to leave the country.

Your presence in the FSSP database may mean that you are no longer allowed to travel abroad.

On the website of the database of enforcement proceedings, search options are available by full name and date of birth of the citizen and the region where enforcement proceedings can be opened.
So, to search for information about your tax debt on the FSSP website, you need to proceed in this order:

  1. Open the main page of the FSSP website. On it you will immediately see a search form with the heading “Find out about your debts”.

    Home page of the FSSP website with a search form for the bank of enforcement proceedings

  2. Enter your or your counterparty's full name in the appropriate fields of the search form and select the region of registration, and then click on the “Find” button.
  3. On the page that opens, enter the verification code in the appropriate field and click “Submit.”

    Form for entering a captcha when searching for information on the FSSP website

  4. Enter the date of birth - yours or another person you want to check.

    Search results in the database of enforcement proceedings on the FSSP website

Using the database of enforcement proceedings, an individual entrepreneur can find out not only his tax debts, but also obtain information about other unfulfilled obligations and transferred to the bailiffs, including as an ordinary citizen.

At the tax office

To do this, you need to submit the following package of documents to the Federal Tax Service:

The application shall indicate:

  • name and number of the Federal Tax Service;
  • Full name of the applicant;
  • applicant's registered address;
  • INN of an individual entrepreneur (not issued separately, the TIN of an individual is used);
  • the essence of the request is stated (provide a certificate of the presence or absence of debt);
  • method of providing the required document: in person or by mail indicating a contact address;
  • The document is dated and signed.

You can use several options to submit documents:

  • personally visit the Federal Tax Service;
  • send a proxy to the tax office, for whom you will have to issue a power of attorney indicating all delegated powers (submit and receive documents, contact state and municipal organizations, sign on behalf of the principal, etc.);
  • send documents by registered mail with acknowledgment of receipt.

The certificate must be prepared and handed over to the applicant in the manner specified by him within ten working days from the date of receipt of the application.

As a result, in order to find out about tax debts to the Federal Tax Service, an individual entrepreneur must act in the following order:

  1. Make a statement.
  2. Attach copies of documents to it.
  3. Submit the package of documents to the tax office in one of the available ways: deliver it in person, through a representative with a power of attorney, or send it by registered mail with acknowledgment of receipt.
  4. To receive the result in the due time, why visit the Federal Tax Service Inspectorate in person, send your representative there with a power of attorney, or, if you chose the option of providing a certificate by mail, wait for the letter.

A certificate of absence of tax debt will be useful to an individual entrepreneur if he plans to participate in a competition for the distribution of government orders. The certificate for each such competition is taken separately and must not be older than the period specified in the requirements for competition documentation. It is best to take it from the Federal Tax Service.

How to check a partner for tax debts

There are no legal ways to check a counterparty for tax debts. This information constitutes a tax secret, and the Federal Tax Service does not have the right to provide it at the request of third parties.

The only available option is to ask the counterparty to independently take this certificate and show it to you.

This method of checking potential partners for good faith in relations with the state is practiced when organizing competitions for the selection of a contractor or contractor, which have the right to be held not only by state and municipal structures (for them the distribution of orders on a competitive basis is mandatory), but also by legal entities, individual entrepreneurs and even ordinary citizens.

Indirect sources of information about the debts of the counterparty can be online services that allow you to find out the tax debt by the TIN of an individual, and the FSSP database of enforcement proceedings, if your full name and year of birth or OGRNIP are known. But information from these sources is not exhaustive for the reasons mentioned above.
